MOTION ANIMATION

This is an animation project I did at DePaul. The assignment was to take an existing poster and animate it to music. I chose “Year of the Dragon” by Phillip Sparke.

I chose this piece of music because it emphasizes percussive attacks that would make for dynamic animations. I liked the call and response that is written into the music and chose to reflect that in the animation.

Animated Logo

The assignment was to animate a logo for an existing company. I chose Telegram, which is a chat client that allows people to message each other fast and efficiently. I chose to focus on the idea of sending a message by having it fold into the paper airplane and fly to a destination.
